This blog is dedicated to breaking down the complex and changing world of local search and online marketing for small businesses.   I have spent my career in various marketing and product development roles in early stages of both the internet and mobile spaces.   The last 4 years was spent pioneering mobile local search and mobile advertising at V-Enable, Inc, where I led Product Management and Marketing.   V-Enable powered one of the first mobile local applications, creating the world’s first mobile local search engine and building a  market for performance based advertising on mobile phones.  I am now utilizing this knowledge and experience as a consultant and adviser to small and large companies on local search and performance-based local advertising.

My previous experience was at AT&T Wireless/Cingular, driving adoption for data services and mobile applications for small businesses.    I also spent several years at Akamai Technologies during the dot com and (unfortunately) dot bomb era, where I focused on product development for businesses communications, web meetings, and online presentation services.

I have a passion for technology and the value it can offer.  I also have a great fondness for the small business entrepreneur and local business owner and enjoy applying my knowledge and insight to help them be more successful.
